The National Cervical Screening Programme recommends that women have a cervical smear test every 3 years. Female members aged 20+ will earn 1,000 AIA Vitality points straight away, and in each of the next two consecutive years.
Ensure your health professional signs the form. Remember, assessments must be undertaken during your AIA Vitality membership year.

The cervical smear test must have been while you're an AIA Vitality member, and in your current membership year to be eligible to receive points.
No. Once you have a cervical smear test you'll earn 1,000 points straight away, and automatically earn 1,000 points for the number of consecutive years following your screening (based on your recommended screening frequency). Based on New Zealand screening guidelines, you'll earn points for 3 consecutive years.
It is generally recommended that women aged 20 - 74 years of age who have ever been sexually active should have a Cervical Screening Test every three years. However, it is imperative that you speak to your health professional for specific information on how often you should be tested.
