A breast cancer screen involves having an X-ray of the breast tissue used to check for breast cancer. Women aged 45+ years old should have a breast cancer screen every two years.

A breast cancer screen is an X-ray of the breast tissue that can find changes too small to be felt during a physical examination. It is used to check for breast cancer in women who have no signs or symptoms. To qualify for the Points for this assessment you must be 45+ years old or have this screen deemed clinically appropriate by your health professional.
If clinically appropriate, complete a breast cancer screen every two years and you’ll earn 1,000 AIA Vitality Points for two consecutive years.

Download the AIA Vitality Health Check & Screening form and bring it with you to your appointment.

Ensure your health professional signs the form. Remember, to be eligible to receive AIA Vitality points assessments must be undertaken during your AIA Vitality membership year.

After your appointment select the date you completed the check below and upload an image or scan of your signed form.

Female AIA Vitality members aged 45+ years who have a mammogram every two years will earn 1,000 AIA Vitality points for two consecutive years. Female AIA Vitality members aged under 45 years of age will be eligible to receive points for a mammogram, if it’s been deemed clinically appropriate.
Clinically appropriate means as advised by an appropriately qualified medical practitioner.
Yes. If your doctor has recommended that you get a mammogram, you will be eligible to earn 1,000 points. Please ensure your doctor has signed the AIA Vitality Health Check & Screening form upon completion of the mammogram.
